Saturday night was the night I got to channel my inner material girl at one of my bestie’s 80s themed party. If you read my blog you’ll know I was torn between the leather-rocky Madge or the gold cone bra Madge. I went for the leather and I went all out.
My partner-in-crime came round early so we could get ready together and
so she could curl my hair in heated rollers. Together we transformed
ourselves into Bowie and Madonna.
This has to be the cheapest fancy dress costume ever. All I needed to buy were the white lace gloves which I found on Amazon for £3. I’m not sure what it says about me that I already owned all of this, or that I could pull a Madonna look together so easily.
One thing’s for sure, I’ll be rocking this look again. Especially the curls, red lips and beauty spot. I loved it.
