The other morning, I pulled on the clothes I’d laid out the night before and was about to leave the house when I realised I’d dressed like a giant child.
You know that feeling when you spot a fugly shoe and feel instantly that they were made for you and that it’d be a crime not to get them. I had that with these sandals.
Pleated midi skirts are my jam. They’re my thing. My wardrobe staple. My go to. I am obsessed. And I recently nabbed two more.
I love me a bit of leopard print. I love me a bit of clashing prints. And I love me a bit of ASOS. The latest ASOS Made in Kenya drop ticks each one of those boxes.
Like peanut butter and jelly, pineapple on pizza and avocado on toast, leopard print and I belong together. We’re better together. Leopard print gets me.
As I begin to fill my gorgeous new display cabinet with handbags, I start to take note of the bags that are missing from my current collection. Said collection has dwindled massively in the past year due to a serious case of mould taking the majority of bags hostage. But that’s ok. Because I can dream about replacing them.
Sound the foghorn, I have finally, finally got my hands on not one but two pairs of flat black ankle boots. If you’re not already aware I cannot begin to explain how long it’s taken me to find some I like, let alone two pairs.
There’s a whole heap of prints going on in this outfit post and I love it.
Winter is by far my favourite season. I love mornings so cold you can see your breath, I love being cuddled up on my sofa while the winds blow and I love throwing on as many layers as possible before venturing outside. And when I do leave the house, I like to be as comfortable as possible.
I feel like I’ve spent the past three years typing the words ‘I’m on the hunt for the perfect pair of flat ankle boots’ and only now do I think I’ve found a pair I might actually purchase. You’ve gotta love ASOS.
