I am a massive fan of all things pom pom and tassel related, so it makes perfect sense that I’d want to incorporate them into our wedding somehow.
While the rest of our planning has ground to a halt, I’ve been spending my commute browsing Pinterest for inspiration and have not been disappointed.
While I want the location, aka the beach, to do all the talking, I do want to get some personal touches in, and garlands of pom poms strung from the twinkling fairy lights around the beach will add the extra pop of colour I’m imagining.
Add to that a mix of pastel ribbons strung from the back of our white chairs at the ceremony, or a tissue tassel garland blowing gently in the breeze from the palm trees (pray God, there’s a breeze), and I’m one happy bride.
I’m after a bit of contrasting texture to break up the gentle blue Caribbean Sea and the golden sandy beach. It’s also an excuse to get a few of my favourite things at the wedding seeing as my dress doesn’t include pom poms or tassels… Or does it?!?!
