I have a handbag dilemma on my hands. In the past week, two of my extra-special, carefully-saved-for handbags have broken. Yep. Two. My original DVF Harper Connect Bag saw the leather shoulder strap snap *sob* and my Rebecca Minkoff Bowery Bag saw the metal clasp break. I’m actually heartbroken. While I work out how much it’ll cost for the repairs, I’ve been doing some shopping and got myself hooked on bucket bags. The dilemma I have is which to choose. Help a sister out.
I have four in the shortlist. Here goes.
Angel Suede Shoulder Bag, Sandro
The blue suede on this bag is killing me. I want to pet it forever. And tassels. I mean, come on.
Lizard-Effect Leather Shoulder Bag, Halston Heritage
A dark gravel bucket bag with a lizard print, silver hardware and drawstring top. Perfect for summer and will go with everything.
Diego Textured-Leather Shoulder Bag, Alexander Wang
Who wouldn’t want a bag that is the same colour as Kermit the frog? The studs, the rouching of the drawstring and the two straps. Swoon.
Athena Textured Patent-Leather Shoulder Bag, Opening Ceremony
It’s a beautiful cobalt blue, has a little hand for it’s snap fastening and is in the shape of a retro sandwich bag. Novelty or what.
Now the hard part. Let me know in the comments which one I should go for. I can’t make this decision by myself.
Number 1 FOR SURE!! It is gooorgeous! I think I looks more expensive that the other and more classy. I also think it’ll be more versatile and timeless as it would suit smart and casual perfectly. I think I need it too – that colour oh my god
Sarah Ann, it’s the most beautiful by far. And you’re right, that colour is spectacular! X
