Want it on Wednesday: The Gold Embroidered Dress of My Dreams

Today’s WIOW item is not only extravagant but rather on the expensive side. But, providing I become one of lotto’s 20 millionaires this weekend, I could afford it no problem. Just roll with me on this one.

Lately I’ve found that I’ve become obsessed with Free People. I follow their social channels, I receive their emails and am forever checking their latest arrivals on site. It’s a bad habit to have with my shopping basket getting a little out of control.

So, you can imagine my reaction when I get an email telling me about their Limited Edition Gemma’s Holiday Dress.

And that’s how I came across this gold sparkly, slightly sexy number.

First off, you know I always steer towards dresses that hang from the body. I hate feeling restricted and confined in my clothes. This one has beautiful sheer sleeves with gorgeous embroidered cuffs, a sexy cut-out back, some soft pleats at the back of the skirt and is covered in delicate beading. It has a whiff of Victorian about it with the silhouette and colour but also has the floaty, boho feel to it, which makes me admire this even more.

My birthday is coming up and this would be perfect to waft around in, taking me from dinner to drinks to dancing. If only I could raise the funds. Ahhhhhhh.
