Warning: This post will contain references to my poor armpits, razor bumps and ingrown hairs. I’m not even sorry about it.
I can’t face waxing. I’ve tried it a couple of times on both my legs and bikini line and two particularly bad experiences have left me far too traumatised to ever go back. I can’t handle the pain, the awkward conversation while you contort your body in ridiculous positions and the plucked-chicken look post wax. It’s just not for me. I am sticking to shaving which in itself brings numerous nasties.
I have to shave my pits every day which, let’s be honest, is the pits. I hate how quickly the hair grows and can’t stand seeing regrowth, so every morning I shave them. That means I face a constant battle of burns, bumps and ingrown hairs. The more I shave, the worse it gets. And then I found Tend Skin, my armpit saviour.
You apply to dry skin using a cotton bud or pad every morning and night until the area is clear and then daily after shaving. And it’s miraculous. I started using this just before my holiday as I wanted to make sure I got rid of the sore looking patches under my arms. I was skeptical about how much it would actually help but even after a week there was a noticeable difference. The skin didn’t look as red and angry, any pre-existing razor burn cleared up as did the ingrown hairs. I’m now a month on and they couldn’t look better.
Thank you Tend Skin. You are my new hero product and I will continue to use you until my armpits are so smooth, people want to stroke them.
