FROW at London Fashion Weekend

Sunday saw me, the not-so-new boyf and my besties, head to a sunny Somerset House for London Fashion Weekend. All courtesy of my fashion partner-in-crime who is currently working there.

The weather was absolutely perfect, giving me the chance to wear a new silk dress from BooHoo.

Dress, Boohoo
Jacket, H&M
Sunglasses, Oasis
Belt, Paul Smith
Jewellery, Whistles
Boots, River Island
I’ve been looking for a dress like this for a while. It has a mesh top, is loose enough to hide a multitude of sins and has a slit up the front, perfecto.
I spent the day dreaming of buying the perfect blue Celine bag, owning a Richard Nicholl over-sized dress and drooling over some sculptural Finsk wedge boots. One highlight, (other than sitting FROW – more to come on that later) was finally getting to meet the gorgeously lovely Olivia Rubin. As you well know, I am a massive fan of hers and own the majority of her previous collections, so it was great to finally meet the lady behind the collections/emails/tweets.
Above all, my highlight of the day was sitting front row, watching Holly Fulton’s SS12 collection saunter down the catwalk.
We are all actually sitting in the same row on the same side….
My show highlights…

These pictures may be blurry but you can see the mix of rich brights in the form of turquoise and coral mixed with deep blues and black. The silk high-waisted trousers are definitely on my SS want list.
They also showed two looks, Prim Rose and Game On, plus AW12 collections from Antipodium and Jasper Conran…

This green coat was incredible. A simple shift shape paired with a sparkly Peter Pan collar.

Tracksuits in bright colours were paired with sporty tops and heels. Maxi dresses were clingy and bold.

I really wanted to end on a little video I shot but for some reason I can’t upload it…
