So it seems like ages ago now that I was posting about a fashion event that myself and the partner in crime were busy organising. It took up every bit of our time and we were amazed at just how much work went into organising an event. Although I have to say how lucky we were that nearly everyone we knew were happy to muck in and help. Our event took place last Sunday at one of the local schools and it went amazingly well, or so I’m told seeing as we spent most of the evening backstage helping the dressers and models. But we did manage to raise about £1000 for the charity so we are more than pleased.
We had photographers and a cameraman at the event (thanks to the family) but I haven’t actually seen any pics or footage so I can’t really report back on that front yet but I do have a few snaps I took backstage and in dress rehearsals that I thought I’d share over a few posts. Hopefully this will make up for the fact that I haven’t posted in over a week, things got a bit hectic and I have since been in recovery…or moping around trying to find a bloomin job.
We had managed to call in clothes from Jaeger, Uniqlo, Ruby Rocks, Motel and Missguided for our catwalk which is more than amazing really. Just thought I’d post a few pics of our models in some of our looks….mainly because I’m quite proud of how they’ve all turned out seeing how quickly we’ve had to work….Luckily the girls are a group of our friends who had more or less been pushed into modelling for us…
We chose themes such as Denim, Glamazonian, Play on Prints, Vintage and Shape Mates and here is a mish mash of them…Just remember these pics are without the girls having their makeup done.
Such cute photos – very kooky styling x
