This weekend I decided to go a little Aztec… I received the most beautiful South Aztec Blue Printed Maxi dress from Very.
Made from the simplest but flattering jersey material I instantly fell in love with this dress. At first I wasn’t sure of the long sleeves but I think it works well, especially due to the deep v neck.
The strips of blue and black cleverly lengthen the body with the Aztec print adding a nice mix of colours and also drawing the eyes to slimmest part of the body. It’s a dress you need to wear with confidence as you will attract attention and hopefully receive compliments on.
Very have a great selection of maxi dresses which are the perfect wardrobe transition from summer to autumn clothing and they are an item which I hope to wear more of.

I had been looking for a military-esque style short version for a while but hadn’t found the right one. This South Stripe military cardigan with gold buttons definitely ticks all the boxes. It actually works really well with some blue harems I’ve got.
