Firstly I’d like to thank everyone who voted that this dress was acceptable to wear to my best friend’s wedding.
However, upon actually trying it on, I’m ruling it out of the equation. It fits nicely but there’s just something about it that doesn’t feel right. Especially for a wedding. I’m not sure whether its the baggy arms or the amount of chest area or waist cut outs covered in nothing but grey mesh, but either way, it’s not for me. Which is a shame as I do love this dress.
Fear not, as I have already found and ordered a suitable replacement.
I know what you’re thinking! Hello cleavage. Except that I’m missing two vital components in that area so my boobage, or lack of it, won’t upstage the bride.
This ASOS Mirror Floral Deep V Skater Dress oozes class and sophistication, two things that I severely lack in life. It’s a gorgeous deep blue, which should compliment Al’s suit and has these pretty coral flowers running down it. Plus, let’s not forget the skater skirt. You know how much I love them.
I’m now in the market for a coral/red pair of heels. Hook me up.
