I am massively in love with Finery and have blogged about items from their collections a lot, however, I’ve yet to commit to a purchase. I think that might be about to change as Finery are having a floral moment.
I’ve recently organised my wardrobe and have noticed a few gaps, especially for the warmer weather. I’m after another pair of printed trousers and another work-appropriate skirt. They have that and more. I’ve picked out my five favourite floral numbers and trust me when I say this wasn’t an easy process.
Ida Kitsch Posey Straight Leg Trousers, £45
While this wouldn’t normally be a colour or print combo I’d go for, I really, really want them. I’d wear them just like the model above, with a tucked in tee and sandals, letting the retro-inspired print do all the talking.
Elmington Garland Pop Strap Back Dress, £69
This dress is beautiful and ticks all my needs. It’s made to define the waist, finishes mid calf, has a pleated skirt and has no back, just three intertwining ribbons for straps. It’s perfection.
Elmore Camofleur Print Wrap Skirt, £49
This dreamy wrap skirt certainly does all the talking. Sitting just below the waistline this skirt features clever panelling details and tuck and turns at every corner. All it needs is a plain top tucked in and some wedges. Both of which I can manage.
Henson Garland Pop Print Shorts, £39
I have a feeling that these would show far too much skin for work but weekends and barbecues with friends require smart yet casual dressing which doesn’t get better than this. Plus, I can pack these away for my beach holiday in September.
Blythe Tropical Print Boatneck Dress, £99
I’m ending this already gorgeous post on a high with the ultimate dress that’s ready for all occasions. The design feels vintage but the structure adds a modern attitude with it’s wide neck, nipped in waist and cute v-neck dip to the back. I’m sold. And this wasn’t even on my original list.
