It’s no secret that a denim short is a bonafide festival staple. Whether you wear yours cheek-skimming or knee length, there is a style out there for everyone. I have a rule of thumb when deciding just how short is too short on me. You see I was lucky enough to be born with two little moles on my left thigh. Stick with me here, this is going somewhere. They’re perfectly positioned at what I consider to be the nicest part of my thigh. The point where it is at its slimmest. The shorts are then allowed to sit a few inches above.
Obviously these rules all fly out the window when on holiday where anything goes.

With Florals…
I am a very lazy dresser in the summer. I like to be comfy with clothes that aren’t clinging to my skin. Denim shorts tend to look super casual, so by adding a pop of colour in the form of an over-sized floral blouse It looks a tad more dressy but still relaxed.
By adding the wedges I’m good to go from day to night.

This is more of an everyday outfit, perfect for chilling in the sun with friends. I’ve doubled up on tank tops as I like easy layers in the summer. This tee is really over-sized so I tend to knot it on one side to draw attention to my waist.
