What I Wore to the Preen Show at London Fashion Week

So in case you hadn’t heard my squeals of excitement, yesterday was kind of a big deal for me. Why, I hear you shout (I know, I know, I’m dragging this out for all it’s worth) because I was lucky enough to attend the Preen show.

I thought I’d do a quick outfit post, even if it is a day late, mainly because the dress I wore deserves some airtime.

Isn’t that just the cheesiest grin you ever did see?

I’d been eyeing up this Whistles beauty for some time but due to a severe lack of funds, couldn’t justify the original price of £160. Luckily for me I got some money for my birthday over Christmas and just happened to notice that it had been reduced to £60, so I snapped it up and haven’t regretted it once.

It’s a beautiful wardrobe staple. It’s clean cut, simple, and flattering. It’s not too fitted (I hate claustrophobic dresses) but hangs perfectly, skimming my curves. I bought a size up from usual so it hangs a little more oversized. It’s a complimentary white and blue with a block blue collar.

My favourite part of this dress has to be the dropped hem and flirty, layered skirt. You all know how much I love a twirling action shot!

I paired it with simple black tights, boots, and my Accessorize cross necklace for an added sparkle.

This is possibly the neatest I’ve ever looked.

Have you been to fashion week or watching it from the comfort of your sofa? What’s been your favourite outfit shots?

I love your grin and I love your dress. No LFW for me, normally I enjoy from afar but this season I just can't get enthused?! xx

Thanks lovely. It is a stupidly massive grin! Sad to hear you can;t get enthused. I'm so in love this season. So many deep colours and sequins for me to swoon over. x
