Mary Katrantzou never fails to disappoint.
Drawing inspiration from stamps and the journeys they told, Mary’s iconic prints have taken on a new dimension. Sharp cuts, A-line skirts and voluminous sleeves have helped create a soft, romantic look for next spring.
The muted palette of ocean blues is splattered with hints of bright yellow, turquoise and deep purple. I admire the stiff collars on the shirt dresses, creating a harsh juxtaposition to the romantic tale the stamps portray. Most of all I like the simplicity of the styling. Slicked back hair and fresh make up make this utter perfection.
