Roll on the collabs…

H&M have a pretty good track record with collabs…Victor and Rolf, Comme des Garcons….and now Matthew Williamson….The collection for Spring/Summer which is set to hit the shops April 23rd (I think) promises to be every bit as bright and creative as usual. I’m thinking bold prints, mixes of jewel colours, flirty dresses, the obligatory jumpsuit….essentially though you will be able to have a fun and frivolous piece of clothing designed by the man himself. I think his style suits H&M…wonder if there will be a crazy mad rush to get some of these looks…
It’s exactly what you would expect of the collab…all the items are pretty much guaranteed to be a sellout…in particular the sequined dress, the maxi, the jumpsuit, the blue suit and the peacock dress. It is, after all, hitting all the Spring/Summer trends.

I’m not sure what the price range will be but I’m guessing it’s going to be more than the Comme des Garcon line as the materials include more silks and heavily embellished sequined dresses which are bound to be more expensive….I’m not sure if I will be buying into this line…at first glance I’m still not completely sold…although there is a cropped leather jacket in a browny/green colour that tickles my fancy..
