On Saturday I went to a little house party to say goodbye to a friend who is going travelling around South America for a few months. I love a good party as much as I love getting dressed up, especially in the company of good friends.
We had been given strict instructions to dress up in our party frocks. Unfortunately I had an incident with a razor and my legs were in no state to make an appearance.
I had picked up some silk purple swirly harems ages ago for a fiver from Miss Selfridge but for some reason or other hadn’t worn them yet, so decided to try them out.
I paired them with a simple black vest and sheer black top, tucked in, and some Kurt Geiger shoe boots. I spent the whole evening referring to them as my clown pants.
