I’ve been in a weird funk for nearly two weeks now and I can’t pinpoint exactly why. Instead I’ve been indulging myself by doing my favourite things to try to shake it off, Taylor Swift style.
I figured, nearly three months later, it was about time I pulled some wedding posts together as I have so much I want to share. From the all-important outfits to advice I’d give future brides but for now, a selection of my favourite photos from the day itself. Because as cheesy as it sounds, it really was the best day ever.
A few weeks ago we had a work party, where we sat on a boat, sipping wine in the sunshine. We got talking about success and what it meant for us and it got me thinking.
I’ve not been feeling myself lately. I was struck down two weeks ago with a stomach bug which left my poorly tummy and IBS all over the place for well over a week. I felt tired all of the time and was completely disinterested in updating my blog. Instead I chose to spend all my weekends consumed with family to make me feel like myself again.
April’s been a funny old month that has come and gone so quickly, I’m not even sure I paused for a breath. I’ve had highs and lows, battled my anxiety and IBS and not really stopped for a break. I’ve also had some amazing highs, noted below, because I’m taking a moment to pat myself on the back for making it through the shit storm.
March has been a pretty tough month. My IBS has been all over place, I’ve been putting myself under a lot of pressure and have had some tough family stuff going on. I’ve also managed to squeeze in some beautiful baby cuddles and family time to put a smile on my face.
So much good stuff happened in February that I noted it all down to reflect on.
I am a massive photo addict. I’m that person that won’t let you cut the cake until I’ve snapped it, my bunny can’t eat a carrot without having my phone in her face, and I even take photos of old photos, just so I can have a digital copy that’s easy to access. It’s safe to say that my phone is crammed, and today I’m sharing some of my favourite highlights.
My family mean the world to me and there is nothing I’d rather do than spend my days with them. Especially my mum. One way or another I speak to her every single day and she is my absolute hero. Today’s post is dedicated to her amazingness.
September was bloody brilliant apart from a small blip, where Al had to have half his little toe amputated two days before his birthday. Despite the blip, we had the best month celebrating his 30th birthday.
