If Mary Katrantzou happened to be your friend and you were getting married, you sure as hell wouldn’t ask anyone else to design your wedding dress would you. I know I wouldn’t even bother to look elsewhere.
As soon as I saw the pictures pop up on Mary’s Instagram feed of her first wedding dress, I fell head over heels on this one image alone.
The skirt is the kind of skirt I dream about. It’s beyond beautiful. Look at the layers, the way it’s cut to fall perfectly, twirling around the body as it moves. It’s glorious and slightly heavenly.
To be honest at this point I didn’t even care what the front looked like, the back had me completely sold. in case you’re curious, here it is, with the lady herself, Mary Katrantzou.
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
I wonder if you have to get married to wear this beauty?!?!
