I have several problems with trousers. I can’t ever find a pair that fit my waist, hips and short legs. Nor can I find any that are roomy enough to allow for a little extra stretch when my IBS bloat requires. I basically need to live in elasticated waists. Enter today’s Want it on Wednesday.
Sound the klaxon, we’re getting into party season people! Strictly’s gracing our screens, the supermarkets are stocking tins of Quality Streets and the stores are full of sequins. All this means one thing, bedazzled, embellished-to-the-max shoes of dreams, ready to get their groove on.
For me and my bloated IBS belly, nothing beats the comfort of my trusty pyjamas. The first thing I do when I get in from work is pull mine on, it’s normally the highlight of my day! A weekend with no plans, I’ll stay in my pyjamas. Friend coming round but you don’t want to get changed, pyjamas. In my dream world, I’d wear pyjamas 90% of my time.
I feel like I only go to Topshop when I need me some new denim. They make jeans that fit my waist, hips, junk and my short legs, which is a tall order. Their latest denim drop does not disappoint, these jeans have TASSELS!!!!
I have forever been obsessed with velvet. I’m all about the texture and the way it feels when you smooth it down with your hands. I love the luxurious nature and the opulence and glamour it suggests, hence today’s Want it on Wednesday.
I haven’t shopped in Topshop for a very long time now because flesh-baring crops tops, bum-skimming denim shorts and body-con ribbed dresses aren’t my bag. However, their new white shirt collection, packed-full with Victorian ruffles, spoke to my nearing-30 body.
I think anyone who reads this blog will know how I feel about my pointy toed, snake-print flats with cute pom poms. Right? I adore them. My love for flats knows no bounds. I have loads of them. But my new favourites definitely have to be pointy. These five flats are the ones that I’m currently crushing on and working out how to buy. Because I want all of them. Obvs.
There’s a whole heap of prints going on in this outfit post and I love it.
Winter is by far my favourite season. I love mornings so cold you can see your breath, I love being cuddled up on my sofa while the winds blow and I love throwing on as many layers as possible before venturing outside. And when I do leave the house, I like to be as comfortable as possible.
I have two pleather skirts in rotation right now that are close to the end of their lives. One is a crazy multicoloured animal-print number, the other is a simple wrap skirt that has started to seriously crack, which is why I’m after this one from Topshop as a replacement.
