M&S make good coats. This was complete news to me until I laid my eyes on this beauty way back in November when I was Christmas shopping. It was the patchwork-style colour blocking that hooked me and the giant silver poppers that reeled me in.
Just call me Pat Butcher already. I’m sold.
While I know we’re still experiencing a pretty hot and sweaty heat wave – I’m trying to keep my pasty limbs out of it – I’m pretty darn ready for Autumn. And I’m not even sorry for typing that.
My mum recently revealed to me that she’s been harbouring a vintage Burberry trench in her wardrobe which she’d bought way back in her twenties, over 30 years ago. I’m a massive trench lover but have never found one that fitted me properly or suited me, until she got hers out of the wardrobe.

The only thing I’m worried about is whether I could pull of the length. Especially if I wore flats, which I do a lot. Will I look a little on the stumpy side?
Obviously it helps that it’s in the sale but I’m not 100% sure that it’s (dramatic pause) ‘the one’.
Let me know what you think.
