These shoes are doing funny things to me. Never before have I seriously considered parting with that much hard cash for a pair of shoes. But then again, never have I received a tax refund at the particular point where I’m considering the big purchase.
I am head-over-heels for the latest Gucci campaign in all its 80’s glory and these Fringed Metallic Cracked-Leather Pumps are no exception.
The gold cracked leather is actually enough to win me over but throw in the fringed square toe, the block heel and the slip on nature and I am so there.
What I love is the versatility of outfits these loafer-inspired pumps will go with. Jeans and a tee, dresses, leather trousers, midi skirts, they’ll just work. Granted they’ll have to as I’ll need to get the cost-per-wear down to something reasonable so Al doesn’t have a minor heart attack.
Damn you Gucci and your fugly and super-pricey pumps that I’m struggling to resist.
