I’m questioning myself over this dress. It’s not something I’d usually go for. In fact it’s probably the complete opposite. I’m a natural-born scruff and this dress oozes sophistication. But I’m fascinated by it.
I’ve got the link saved on my phone and keep looking at it, just to test myself. It’s ladylike, grown up and well, a little bit sophisticated. It has a plunging v halter but doesn’t look tacky. It’s classy.
As I get older my hemlines are definitely getting longer. Ask any of my friends and they’ll tell you that I’ve always been a champion of the mini, but these days, I’m all about the midi. I’m taking my thighs out of the limelight.
Also, I’d like to point out that it’s completely backless, another big seller for me.
I’m just not entirely sure when I’ll wear it. It’s a bit too risqué for work, but maybe I could float around – because I imagine when you wear a dress like this you glide – in it over summer?
I could take it out for lunch with friends, family trips to the beach, and on my dreamy holiday in September. Dammit ASOS, why’d you always do this to me?!
