A Whole Lotta Animal Print

There’s nothing more I love in life than sequins, leather and leopard print. I feel like this post is my homage to Pat Butcher, the queen of all things leopard. My leopard-print covered icon.

This dress is an oldie but a goodie. It’s wheeled out of the wardrobe for occasions when I’m having a bad day or feeling a little bloated (I’m an IBS sufferer), it’s my equivalent of a security blanket.

These pics were taken before a girly meal. We went for an Italian so I
wanted to wear something that would accommodate a vast amount of garlic
bread, pizza and wine… and I succeeded.

I feel like I could write about this dress forever so forgive me if I ramble on a little.

The voluminous style you know I like, but when in this sheer fabric it still manages to have a sexy quality to it. There’s no skin on show but flashes of a silhouette I think can be sometimes be even more suggestive. It has a pleated front at the top of the bust so it hangs and moves beautifully. The sleeves billow out until they’re nipped in with tight cuffs. But, to me, the best part is the perfect leopard-print Peter Pan collar.

I’ve paired it with thick black tights, my cross necklace which I’ve blogged about previously here and some cute black ankle wedges that also have a leopard-print trim. It’s complete OTT but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I topped the look off with my Zara leopard print coat. Et voilà, Pat Butcher.

I’m sorry these pics are crappy. Am still taking them on my iPhone in front of my jumble-sale looking room!
